Learn to surf with us at Surfivor Surf Camp! 

We offer beginner and intermediate surf lessons and will take you to the best beaches and surf spots in the region. If you never stood on a surfboard before this is your call for a great surf experience in Portugal.
Our experienced surf coaches will show you step–by–step how to catch the right wave and have you surfing in no time. 

Learn how to surf at some of the best surf spots in Europe with little crowds, empty beaches, and a very friendly ‘family-like’ atmosphere. Our Esmoriz Surf Hostel is open from April until October and offers surf lessons for beginners and intermediates.

Beginner

For people with Zero Experience or Basic Surf Skills. The beginner course provides you with an introduction to the practical and theoretical basics of surfing waves. Professional surf lessons are led by highly qualified surf instructors incl. theory and pop-up practice.

Intermediate

At the intermediate surf clinic, we welcome surfers who already have technique and want to improve their wave catching skills and wave count. Our surf coaches will guide to the right waves at the right time. You will be provided with intricate knowledge of the best spots in the region and receive good advice in the water. Get ready for some of the best sessions you’ve ever had! This level requires surfing experience with a controlled take off in green waves and a medium to high level of surfing.

Surf theory & Pop-Up Practice

Twice a week we hold a theory lesson and a pop-up practice coaching sessions in the surf camp. You will be taught how the oceans really work and which weather conditions are needed to generate the perfect waves for surfing.

Surf Equipment

Surfivor provides guests with a wide range of surfboards, wetsuits and surf accessories. We have wetsuits in all sizes and more than 50 surfboards ranging from Softboards for beginners to Mini Mal’s, Shortboards and Longboards for intermediates. We also offer a broad choice of hardboards in multiple sizes for the more experienced. When booking your Surf Camp package, this equipment will be available and free to use during your entire stay.
