LOCATION
The location for NOS Primavera Sound Porto is the Parque da Cidade city park in Porto. The Parque da Cidade is the country’s largest urban park (83 hectares), located next to our local surf beach, Matosinhos. NOS Primavera Sound is perfectly placed for us surfers and easily accessible by public transport.
Our hostel is the closest accommodation you can get; just a 10 minute walk from the Parque da Cidade.
Similarly committed to musical diversity and forward-thinking curation as its Barcelona-based older sibling, the festival’s lineup comprises indie and alternative favourites, stars of hip-hop, and a selection of electronic music’s underground heroes.
And while the atmosphere and fan base are also very similar to that of the Spanish flagship, one point where the Porto edition arguably comes out on top is the setting: a beautiful green and scenic park in the heart of one of Europe’s most underrated cities.
