Miguel is the organizer and director of Surfivor Surf Camp.

After growing up in Germany, where he spent his childhood on a Skateboard, he moved to Portugal in 1988. He swapped his Skateboard for an old 5’6’’ fat boy fishtail Surfboard and simply paddled out to the new world of surfing. From this moment on, Miguel’s life took a new direction and he hasn’t stopped catching waves since then.
In 2004 and 2005, he became regional surfing champion and is still paddling out to catch his perfect wave.

“For me, surfing is my way of leaving all unnecessary troubles aside. When I’m in the sea, I get to understand that life can be very simple, if you’re lucky! It’s this feeling that keeps me motivated, day after day!”
